Located in the vibrant city center of Hamburg, close to iconic landmarks such as the Elbphilharmonie, St. Michael's Church (Michel), and the Reeperbahn, the conference venue offers an ideal setting for our conference with its spacious meeting rooms.
The excellent public transportation connections, along with the S-Bahn station "Stadthausbrücke" right at the doorstep, ensure easy access for all guests. Additionally, there are numerous hotels of various price ranges available in close proximity, making overnight accommodations easy to arrange.

How to reach the Catholic Academy Hamburg:
By public transport from Hamburg Central Station:
S-Bahn: Take S1 or S3 towards Altona, and get off at Stadthausbrücke station (2 stops). The exit is next to the building where the Academy is located.
U-Bahn: Take U3 from Hauptbahnhof-Süd towards Barmbek, and get off at Rödingsmarkt (3 stops). Exit in the opposite direction of travel, turn left through the passage by the Steigenberger Hotel, and continue straight over Michaelisbrücke. The building housing the Academy will be directly across from you (approximately a 5-minute walk).
By car:
From the south: Coming from A1, take the A255 towards Hamburg city center at the Hamburg-South motorway interchange. At the end of the motorway, keep left onto B4. Follow B4 (Amsinckstr. / Willy-Brandt-Str. / Ludwig-Erhard-Str.). After passing under the U-Bahn at Rödingsmarkt, turn right onto Herrengraben. The Academy is clearly visible on your right at the corner of Ludwig-Erhard-Str. / Herrengraben.
From the east: Take A24 to Hamburg-Horn junction (Horner Kreisel), then Sievekinsallee towards city center, Bürgerweide (B75). Turn right onto Spaldingstraße, then follow Ansinckstr. (B4) until you reach Herrengraben.
From the north: Take A7 to Hamburg-Bahrenfeld junction, then follow Von-Sauer-Str. / Bahrenfelder Chaussee / Stresemannstr. (B431 / B4) towards city center, Neuer Pferdemarkt / Budapester Str. / Millerntorplatz / Ludwig-Erhard-Str. (B4). The Academy is located below St. Michael’s Church on your left at the corner of Ludwig-Erhard-Str. / Herrengraben. To reach Herrengraben 4, turn right onto Herrengraben, make a U-turn, and cross Ludwig-Erhard-Str.
